Jinan: The City of Springs:
Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province, is renowned as the "City of Springs" with a history spanning thousands of years. The city harmoniously blends natural springs, lakes, and mountains, most famously represented by the Baotu Spring and Daming Lake. Its poetic description – "Lotus on four sides, willow trees on three; a city of mountain views, half a city of lake" – perfectly captures its unique landscape.
As a key economic and cultural hub in eastern China, Jinan serves as a vital center in the Bohai Rim Economic Zone. While proudly preserving its rich heritage as part of the Qilu cultural heartland, the city has rapidly evolved into a modern technological base. It has developed strong capabilities in artificial intelligence, big data, and intelligent manufacturing, creating an ideal environment for technological innovation and academic exchange.
This perfect integration of ancient charm and modern vitality makes Jinan a compelling destination where historical legacy meets cutting-edge technology.
