Balancing act: managing near-term challenges and future strategies

Now in its 11th year, MEBC26 continues to serve as a high-level forum for informed, independent discussion across the bunker value chain.

Speakers at this year’s conference will consider how traders, physical suppliers and
ship owners and operators are faring in a business climate where geo-political and
economic uncertainty is currently ‘the norm’. The changing dynamic of the Middle
East bunker sector, with players entering and exiting the market, will also be front
and centre in MEBC discussions in 2026.

‘Doing business better’ will also be a key theme at MEBC26, with discussions
centred on digitalisation, transparency, efficiency, counterparty credit, effective
risk management and the timing of alternative fuel strategies.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

MEBC26 convenes shipowners and operators, fuel buyers and traders, physical
suppliers, ports, storage and logistics providers, solution vendors, financiers,
insurers, standards bodies, and regulators active in the Middle East and beyond.

Format: A two-day conference with exhibition, networking events and a
post-conference reception.
